Her thesis was on Corporate Social Investment in the mining industry and Cultural heritage resource management in Botswana. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy at Chinhoyi University of Technology focusing on developing a framework for participation of rural communities in Botswana Tourism. She is currently the Botho University Faculty of Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism research committee Vice Chair. With her rich and dynamic research and academic background, she currently writes an educational seminal newspaper column for the Guardian Botswana named ‘Lets talk Tourism and Heritage’. Over the past 13 years she continues to mentor young people and publishes on issues of Heritage Management, development within communities, Education and Tourism Development. She practices mindfulness, is a community work enthusiast and enjoys travelling her spare time.
