Botho University, Botswana offers on-campus safe and secure student accommodation

Botho University is offers on-campus, safe, clean, and highly secure student accommodation at its Botswana campus at highly competitive rentals. The student accommodation is primarily for first-year students who may be in remote areas or are international students studying at Botho University. The student accommodation also houses exchange students from our partner universities who are studying at Botho University. The Student and Alumni Affairs Department (SAAD) at Botho University is responsible for the Student Accommodation at Botho University.

There are nine student accommodation units that have been set up for the purpose of on-campus student accommodation. In addition, there is 1 Unit for the resident Warden. Each unit typically houses 1 Resident Assistant who is a senior student of Botho University and responsible for day-to-day administration, supporting the Warden, and helping the new tenants to settle in. Each unit houses students of the same gender, mixed-gender accommodation is usually not encouraged.

Each student accommodation unit has:

  • Two well-ventilated bedrooms with four residents each; a max of 8 residents per unit.
  • Two showers cum toilets per unit
  • Air conditioner
  • Geyser for hot water
  • A study table and chair for each resident
  • Lockable cupboard for each resident
  • Well-ventilated Balcony
  • Sink with washing facilities
  • Kitchen Facilities with adequate cooking facilities
  • Refridgerator
  • Microwave
  • Wi-Fi is available
  • Water and electricity (Ts and Cs apply).
  • Regular cleaning of the units and proper garbage disposal is through the university’s authorized service provider
  • The entire premises is secure using CCTV and entry is for authorized residents and personnel only.
