This programme runs for five years with a six-month internship programme where students will be expected to do Professional Practice. There is a need for Electrica l Engineers in the Botswana engineering industry inorganisations such as the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC), Botswana Telecommunication Corporation (BTC) and Morupule Coal Mine (MCM) as well as many construction companies. Graduates can also seek opportunities in international markets.

Admissions Criteria

  • BGCSE/equivalent with 5 Passes including English,Mathematics and Physics/Double Sciences/Physics +Chemistry.
  • Applicants in possession of a Diploma or Higher Diploma in related field will be given exemptions based on the credit point
    equivalency.

Graduates of this programme can

    industry
