Mr. Obakeng Maphane is interested in making a dent in the development of future engineers and contributing to the engineering sphere in Botswana. His notable achievements include excelling through the University of Botswana Advanced Science Program, and went abroad to study his passion for Computers in the University of Ottawa. Maphane combined his passion for Electronics and Agriculture in a research for Livestock Tracking and Identification at Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST). He has extensive experience working in various institutions including BIUST and University of Botswana (UB) . He enjoys guiding students and hope to one day be part of a team that develops a technology that disrupts our way of life here in Botswana and around Africa.
